Leatherwork / Quillwork

  • Quillwork is embroidered on brain-tanned deer and moose hides, Birch bark and rawhide.

  • Hides are derived from those which would otherwise be discarded during hunting season.

  • All quills come from porcupines that were roadkill in the state of Maine. Birch is sourced from the White Mountains in New Hampshire & the Adirondacks in NY. Quills are dyed with natural plants and commercial dyes.

Home Goods / Wildcrafted Items

Seasonal meals are offered in autumn.

* Wipunkòkw acorn meal is harvested from foraged Swamp White / White Oak acorns. They are gathered, shelled, leeched of tannins and then dried and pounded into usable meal.

Dogbane and Black Walnuts are collected from various wilds.
